Seamap provides a comprehensive range of exploration products focused on the marine seismic survey industry. The GunLink 2000 product range is the world's leading seismic acquisition and source control system. Ranging from the GunLink 2000 which resides as an onboard analogue system, to the GunLink 4000 fully distributed in-water digital system, the Seamap controllers are each capable of firing up to 256 guns or 128 GI guns. With 24 bit Hydrophone signal acquisition and recording, available as a SEG D file for post analysis, the GunLink 4000 offers true quality control of the array. The performance of the array can be further enhanced by the addition of Seamap pressure and depth transducers.
BuoyLink EX also supports the marine seismic survey industry, by providing precise positioning on both the sub array flotation and streamer tail buoys. This versatile system incorporates electronics which offer both wireless and hard wired communications back to the vessel. Positioning data gathered by Buoylink can be made available or exported, in a number of different formats ensuring compatibility with a wide range of processing and navigation systems.
Streamer distributed weights and rubber protectors are also produced by Seamap and are used globally by many of the worlds leading seismic operators. These products are designed to fit most of the streamers used in the market place today. Seamap also produces cable levellers and retriever lanyards for additional in-water product security.
